Several businesses along 11th Street between Utica and Lewis have noted an increase in unhoused individuals in the district, and some have experienced recent incidents of vandalism, break-ins, or uncomfortable encounters within their spaces. There’s a shared interest in understanding what resources are available, what plans are currently in motion, and how we as a business and residential district can both support compassionate efforts while ensuring safety for our staff, customers, and neighbors.
